Separate lid-and-base construction
This format uses a fitted top cover over a straight-wall base instead of an integrated carry handle or curved dome. The removable lid supports careful loading and presentation of round or square cakes, cake boards, pastry assortments, and other bakery products.
Clear PET top display window
The lid opening can be backed with clear PET film for product visibility without lifting the cover. PET is commonly selected for clarity and stiffness. Exact film grade, adhesive, food-contact requirements, grease exposure, packing temperature, and storage conditions are confirmed during quoting.
Custom materials, printing, and finishes
Choose white paperboard, natural kraft paperboard, or corrugated board according to presentation and strength requirements. Available print configurations include unprinted packaging, full-color CMYK, and CMYK with Pantone color matching. Matte and gloss lamination can be quoted where compatible with the selected board and food-use requirements.
How to specify the correct size
Measure the cake board at its widest points, the total decorated cake height, and the clearance needed to lower and remove the lid without touching decorations. Window size and border width must also be balanced with lid strength. Because the base, walls, lid, tabs, and window opening are structurally connected, the 3D configurator may adjust related dimensions to maintain a valid dieline.

How is this different from a handled cake carrier?
This box uses a separate removable lid and does not rely on an integrated paperboard carry handle. It is intended for counter presentation, bakery pickup, and placement inside a suitable bag or delivery setup when carrying support is required.
Can the window dimensions be customized?
Yes. Window size and position can be reviewed with the dieline. Larger openings may require a wider paperboard border, thicker window film, or structural adjustments to keep the lid stable.
Can it fit both round and square cakes?
Yes. Provide the cake board length and width, finished decorated height, and required loading clearance. Final fit should be confirmed with a sample before production.
Is the window suitable for food contact?
A food-contact-suitable PET film can be specified. Tell us whether food will touch the film directly and describe moisture, grease, temperature, and storage conditions so the correct construction can be confirmed.
